The Knights of Columbus Council 10560 holds their meetings on the first Tuesday of each month in the St Joseph on the Rio Grande Nazareth Center at 7:00 am, preceded by the praying of the Rosary at 6:45 am.
The Knights of Columbus Council 10560 holds various social events, including dinners with our spouses, camping and hiking trips, in addition to the fellowship provided during our many other functions.
The Knights of Columbus Council 10560 promotes their organization and provides fare (food and drink) for the success of the St Joseph on the Rio Grande Parish Picnic in the early fall of each year.
New Mexico and the surrounding region is a mecca for outdoor activities, a place for experiencing God’s Creation, offering fellowship opportunities amidst peace and tranquility on the many trails available in our local area, and on others a short drive away.
I’m proposing that we hike on some of the mostly easy to moderate trails in the area; in the foothills, in the forested eastern side of the mountains, around the volcanoes, in the Rio Grande, or with a short road trip.
We could schedule 1 or 2 hikes in the cooler Fall weather on a Saturday morning (after TMIY) or on a Sunday morning, although I’m available most weekdays as well.
Walking is an option as well; on any of Albuquerque's many subdividion trails.
